Enterprise Responsible & Ethical Sourcing Policy
1. Sourcing Mission Statement
At Nexly.biz (the “Company”), we believe that institutional integrity begins at the origin. Our mission is to ensure that every component, service, and line of code within our supply chain is sourced ethically, sustainably, and with absolute respect for human dignity. We do not participate in market segments that extract value at the cost of human rights or environmental safety.
2. Structural Scope
This policy covers the procurement of all physical goods (hardware, office assets) and digital services (SaaS, outsourced engineering) by Nexly. It mandates a "Deep-Trace" approach beyond Tier 1 suppliers to ensure compliance at every node of the supply lifecycle.
3. Core Ethics Grid
- Transparency: Suppliers must disclose the origin of raw materials and sub-components.
- Accountability: Suppliers are contractually liable for the ethical conduct of their own vendors.
- Equity: We prioritize sourcing from minority-owned, woman-owned, and local social enterprises.
4. Conflict Minerals & Responsible Mining
Nexly adheres to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas. We mandate that any hardware containing Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, or Gold (3TG) is sourced only from certified "Conflict-Free" smelters that do not finance armed conflict or human rights abuses.
5. Forced Labor & Deceptive Recruitment Prevention
We maintain a zero-tolerance mandate for forced labor. Suppliers must implement "Employer Pays" recruitment models, ensuring workers never pay fees to secure employment. We actively monitor for indicators of debt bondage and deceptive recruitment in high-risk geographic nodes.
6. Community & Indigenous Land Rights
Suppliers must respect the rights of local communities and indigenous peoples in areas where they operate. Sourcing decisions must account for land rights and ensure that operations do not result in the unauthorized displacement of people or the degradation of culturally significant sites.
7. Sustainable Logistics & Transit Node
Sourcing includes the path to our door. We prioritize logistics partners who demonstrate a commitment to decarbonization via EV fleets, route optimization algorithms, and high-fidelity offsets for all shipping emissions.
8. Eco-Packaging & Plastic Elimination
Nexly mandates that all physical shipments utilize 100% recyclable or compostable packaging materials. We are committed to the systemic elimination of single-use plastics from our inbound supply chain by 2026.
9. Multi-Tier Traceability & Radar
We utilize distributed ledger technology to track critical components from "Mine to Module." Individual suppliers are required to participate in Nexly’s Traceability Radar, providing verifiable proof of origin for high-impact materials.
10. Sourcing Due Diligence & Triage
Before any new vendor is onboarded, they must pass a "Sourcing Integrity Audit." This audit evaluates their social compliance, environmental management systems, and financial transparency. Ongoing partnerships are subject to periodic re-verification.
11. Remediation & Corrective Action Logic
In the event of a sourcing breach, Nexly’s first priority is remediation. We work with Suppliers to resolve logic gaps and improve standards. However, if a Supplier fails to demonstrate immediate and sustained corrective action regarding human rights, the contract will be terminated without exception.
12. Ethical Sourcing Command
